Welcome to CHICA-SASKPIC!
SASKPIC provides a forum for networking, education and collaboration. We also provide educational funding related to infection prevention and control for our members. Our chapter currently has over 50 members, including:
- Persons employed or interested in infection prevention and control such as physicians, managers, lab techs, nurses, public health inspectors etc.
- Industry representatives.
New members are encouraged to join. If you are interested, please contact any of the Chapter Executive listed on the 'Quick Index' menu of our website.
Thanks to the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health, who have provided provincial membership to Webber Training sessions. The Ministry will be funding a 2-year membership for SASKPIC members and others interested in infection control topics to attend the webinars. SASKPIC partnered with CHICA Canada and Becton Dickinson to provide a very well attended education session (Roadshow) in April 2011, Reducing HealthCare Associated Infections, at Hotel Saskatchewan in Regina. Our Roadshow had the highest attendance across Canada. Thanks to all who attended!
